Biological research under the Department of Atomic Energy has made significant contributions across diverse areas of basic and applied sciences, including radiation biology, mutation breeding, cancer biology, food technology, microbiology, radiopharmaceuticals, biophysics, molecular biology and agriculture. These efforts have played an important role in advancing nuclear technologies for societal benefit. The conference will focus on emerging areas at the interface of nutrition, health, and biological sciences.
